Anke Kramer scrapbook layout using January 2026 Hip Kit Club Raffle Tickets Metal Die Set with rainbow cardstock and fussy cut flowers

Tutorial: Scrapbook Layout Process | Jan 2026 Hip Kits | Anke Kramer

Hey there, crafty friends! I am so excited to share this gorgeous layout from our amazing design team member, Anke Kramer, featuring the January 2026 Hip Kits. Anke created the most stunning scrapbook layout using the January 2026 Raffle Tickets Metal Die Set, and let me tell you, the way she used those ticket dies with all the beautiful rainbow cardstock from the January 2026 Cardstock Kit is absolutely brilliant. The blues, greens, yellows, oranges, pinks and purples all come together in the most eye-catching way!

What I love about this layout is how Anke combined so many elements from across the January kits - from fussy cut flowers using the So Many Words patterned paper in the January 2026 Main Kit, to the Cardstock Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers, Chipboard Die Cuts, and Puffy Stickers from the January 2026 Embellishment Kit. She even added a hand-stitched butterfly trail for that extra special handmade touch. If you have been wondering what to do with your Raffle Tickets Metal Die Set, this video is packed with creative ideas. Let Anke walk you through every step of her process!

Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: Die Cut the Raffle Tickets ▶ Watch

Step 1: Die Cut the Raffle Tickets

Start by die cutting tickets from each color of cardstock in your January 2026 Cardstock Kit - blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Use the die that cuts three tickets in a row, and cut twice in each color so you have plenty to work with. This gives you a beautiful rainbow of ticket strips ready to arrange.

Step 2: Arrange and Fold the Ticket Strips ▶ Watch

Step 2: Arrange and Fold the Ticket Strips

Lay out your ticket strips across your layout page, placing four tickets in each row with one of each color represented. Once you are happy with the arrangement, fold the ticket strips and adhere them down. This creates a fun, layered rainbow grid effect as your background.

Step 3: Fussy Cut Flowers from Patterned Paper ▶ Watch

Step 3: Fussy Cut Flowers from Patterned Paper

Grab the So Many Words patterned paper from your January 2026 Main Kit and carefully fussy cut around the floral designs. Take your time with the detailed edges to get nice clean cuts. Set these aside for now - they will be a beautiful embellishment layer later on.

Step 4: Die Cut Your Photos with the Ticket Dies ▶ Watch

Step 4: Die Cut Your Photos with the Ticket Dies

Here is a really clever trick - use one of the ticket dies to cut your photos into ticket shapes. This ties your photos right into the theme of the layout and gives them a fun, unique shape instead of a standard rectangle. It is such a simple idea but it makes a big impact.

Step 5: Create Accent Tickets and Arrange Photos ▶ Watch

Step 5: Create Accent Tickets and Arrange Photos

Cut additional tickets from the back side of each cardstock using two of the other ticket dies from the set. Then arrange these accent tickets along with your ticket-shaped photos on your page, layering them over your rainbow ticket background. Play with the placement until everything feels balanced.

Step 6: Add Your Title with Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers ▶ Watch

Step 6: Add Your Title with Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers

Spell out your title using the Cardstock Layered Foam Alphabet Stickers from your January 2026 Embellishment Kit. The foam gives your title nice dimension and helps it stand out against all those colorful ticket layers underneath. Position it where your eye naturally lands on the page.

Step 7: Layer on Flowers and Embellishments ▶ Watch

Step 7: Layer on Flowers and Embellishments

Now add your fussy cut flowers from earlier, tucking them around your photos and title. Then pull out the Cardstock Ephemera Pack die cuts, Chipboard Die Cuts, and Puffy Stickers from your January 2026 Embellishment Kit and keep layering until your page feels full and finished.

Step 8: Add a Stitched Butterfly Trail ▶ Watch

Step 8: Add a Stitched Butterfly Trail

For the perfect finishing touch, cut out a purple butterfly from one of the Pocket Life papers and adhere it to your layout. Then hand stitch a trailing path behind the butterfly to add movement and whimsy. This little detail takes just a few minutes but gives your layout such a special, handcrafted feel.
